Return & Refund Policy
1. Scope
This Return & Refund Policy applies only to purchases made directly from the StudioDesk website.
Purchases made through authorized resellers are subject to the reseller’s own return policies.
2. Eligibility for Returns (Standard Orders – Non-Klarna)
Returns for non-Klarna purchases are accepted only for stock items and only if all of the following conditions are met:
- the return request is made within 14 days of delivery
- the product is unused, unassembled, and not installed
- the product is returned in its original packaging, including all cartons, pallets, protective materials, and accessories
- the product is returned in resale-ready condition, suitable to be sold again as new
Products showing signs of use, assembly, installation, wear, modification, or repackaging are not eligible for return.
Custom, made-to-order, and pre-order products are not eligible for return, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Restocking Fees & Customer-Caused Returns (Non-Klarna)
For eligible standard (non-Klarna) returns, a 25% restocking fee applies.
The restocking fee applies in particular where:
- the customer refuses delivery without transport damage
- the customer returns the product due to a change of mind
- the return is caused by incorrect delivery information or failure to accept delivery
If returned goods are missing accessories, packaging, or protective materials, or are not in resale-ready condition, additional deductions may apply or the return may be refused.
4. Shipping Costs & Refund Deductions (Non-Klarna)
For standard (non-Klarna) returns:
- all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
- original shipping charges are non-refundable
- if free shipping was applied, the actual shipping cost incurred by StudioDesk may be deducted from the refund
- any additional logistics, handling, inspection, or storage costs may be deducted
5. Damaged Goods & Transport Claims
All shipments are insured against transport damage.
If transport damage occurs:
- the customer must follow the inspection and refusal procedure described in the Shipping Policy
- items damaged during transport will be replaced free of charge
Returns of items damaged after delivery, or damaged due to improper handling, assembly, or use by the customer, will not be accepted.
6. Refund Processing (Standard Orders – Non-Klarna)
Approved refunds for non-Klarna purchases are issued to the original payment method only.
Refunds are processed after:
- returned goods are received and inspected
- compliance with all return conditions is confirmed
- applicable deductions (restocking fee, shipping, missing parts) are applied
Refund processing may take up to 14 business days after receipt of the returned goods.
7. Klarna Purchases – Mandatory Consumer Rights
The following return and refund conditions apply exclusively to purchases made using Klarna and override all other sections of this policy, where required by law.
This section is provided to comply with Klarna’s merchant protection policy and mandatory consumer rights.
7.1 Right of Return (Klarna Orders Only)
Customers who purchase products using Klarna have the right to return eligible items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided that:
- the product is unused, unassembled, and unopened
- the product is returned in its original packaging
- the product is in resale-ready condition
These requirements apply for sanitary, safety, and resale reasons.
Items that do not meet these conditions may not qualify for a refund.
7.2 Free Return Shipping (Klarna Orders Only)
For eligible Klarna returns, return shipping is provided free of charge.

Returns sent without prior authorization or to an incorrect address may be refused.
7.4 Refund Processing (Klarna Orders Only)
For Klarna purchases:
- no restocking fees apply
- no store credit or exchanges apply
- refunds are issued only to the original Klarna payment method
- refunds are processed within 14 business days after the returned item is received and approved

- this section applies only to Klarna purchases
- all other payment methods remain subject to the standard Return & Refund Policy
- nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer rights under applicable law
8. Klarna Availability Exclusions
Klarna may not be available for:
- custom or made-to-order products
- pre-order products
- products with extended production or dispatch timelines
Where Klarna is not available, standard return conditions apply.
